I have no idea where 15 years went. So cliche to say time flies when you’re having fun. But it’s so true. It’s been fun watching you grown up Danigirl.

Keep being that little girl that thinks your Tia can make anything! That spunky little girl that we all Love. Keep being fashion and Loving the world the way you do. Make good choices and when in doubt always ask yourself WHAT WOULD MIKE TROUT DO.

Let’s bring back socks and sandals for your Birthday!!!

I know it’s only June 3rd but June gloom has really shown up. It’s been gloomy and I Love it. I wish our entire summer was gloomy, but I know it won’t be. It’s going to be a million degrees before we know it.

I had an uneventful weekend. I’ve been needing a lazy weekend and aside from making this cake

I’ll have to keep practicing on the drip part because it needs help LOL. Other than that. I’m proud of my cake.

Aside from showing off my cake I also wanted to tell you that…

Life is about learning to balance on one leg.

Because we don’t always land on both our feet.

I Love you Mother Earth…

It’s amazing that even fences can’t stop Mother Earth from being amazing.

I Love walking this trail on my way to and from work. I’ve seen so many changes in the trees and plants. But the one constant is Mother Earth is always brining new greenery to life.

These aren’t the greatest photos. But if you Love Mother Earth as much as I do. They will make your heart as happy as they make mine.

So much to be thankful for lately. But today I am thankful for friends who invite my sister and I over for their birthday lunch. Friends who take their time to make lemonade.

How beautiful are these lemons!!!

Friends who take the time to make us salad and soup.

Thankful for a good lunch that was cooked from scratch but even more thankful for nice conversations, for fun stories and for how appreciative friends are. Thank you Alma for such a fun afternoon.

Let’s be thankful all year long. Not just on Thanksgiving.

Today I’m thankful for cough drops and warm blankets. Beanies and cowls. Warm socks and jammies.

Most important I am thankful to my spunky niece Dani. Who teaches us daily that we need to sing more and have fun! Thank you Dani girl. Tia loves you.

Paper flower workshop…

I’ve made a few large paper flowers before, but I eyeballed them and wasn’t sure if I was making them right. When Jamie at 702_ flowers4U offered a paper flower workshop. I decided to make a weekend out of it and travel to Las Vegas to take her workshop. Jamie was so nice and answered all my questions and didn’t hesitate to give us info, that is usually so hard to get answers to. 

We made 2 flowers using her templates. 

Here is the first one.

Those close up of the center is more true to color of this beautiful salmon colored paper.


My petals are a little wonky but I will keep practicing. 

We also made this flower, that I am so in love with.
